Earring Display at My Home Show

I had a "lazy susan" turn table, so I used it for the base. I purchased from Target a black, wire trash can, perfect for hanging earrings.

I put it on the lazy susan and nailed little escuteon nails all around the rim of the trash can to hold it onto the base - and I had a very good display which people could turn to see all the earrings.

I think it's genius when we look at something day in and day out,looked at a million times and then, one day, see it in a totally different way. That garbage can idea is brilliant. I'm jealous though because I can't find a lazy susan like that and so I've had to use just the front of the g. can. Still it is a novel idea. Brava

I found my lazy susan at a craft fair woodworker's booth. You could probably use a plastic lazy susan for the kitchen ..glue a larger round thin plywood top to it (epoxy) so it would be big enough.

Awsome Awsome Awsome... a mesh trash basket.... I have been racking my brain trying to figure out something that would travel easy and easy to assemble... considering I am limited on space both in car and on my tables

Trash Can display possibility

I've found that anything that moves attracts buyers to your table. What about mounting the trash can on top of a battery-powered display turntable so it goes around and around. Alternatively have a small rotating display next to the trash can to catch attention. Ever been fishing? a bobbing lure attracts to the main event doesn't it.
