Jewelry holder improvised from a craft-store find - an ideal display for rings and other jewelry items

I was at Jo-Ann's craft store and came across a thread spool holder, and thought it would look nice on my table to display my rings. You could
also hang necklaces from the end ones.

It looks like this jewelry holder would be easy to load up with jewelry at home, before your shows and parties, for a quick-to-set-up display.

I like your idea but I hope you don't mind a suggestion...I would paint it black or white but i prefer black. I think the rings would stand out more. I think the raw wood takes away from the beauty of your rings. Thank you for sharing.

I've used these in my closet for years. I painted glossy white and hung then flush on the wall. TERIFFIC

@anonymous...That sounds like a great use of space. I may try that in my closet at home, and maybe on the walls in my shop. Post a picture, SO I can have a visual.

for Earrings too

I have used one of these for earrings as well, though the best ones are short charm earrings as the rows are fairly close together.
