A peek into Alicia's jewelry store window
The front of my store does not stick out past its neighbors.
I have no neon signs.
I need to stop people, and the more of my space I fill the higher my odds.
Ultimately, what I am trying to sell is very, very small.
Small doesn't make people stop in their tracks.
In this window I went cheap... again.
So we have one mixed bag of crystals, 40 pieces for $4.99 from the local large box style craft store.
They are faceted acrylic and I love them... and use them a lot.
They are strung on clear fishing line and hung from the ceiling.
The curtains in the back are $9.99 each, from a different big box store.
The vases are really just the cheapest tall vases I could find at the craft store, at $4 or $5 each.
In the paper section they had sheets of pierced paper for $1 or $2.
I rolled them up and stuck them inside the vases.
The flowers were different fakes I had accumulated from different displays.
And of course, lots of spring colored jewelry!
I used my peach velvet displays from a ready made line from an online retailer.
