This artistically portable jewelry display case is a fun project, especially if you enjoy dabbling in altered art.
Front view of the closed case.
The photos here are from the display case tutorial by Carolina Gonzalez, the creator of this unique jewelry carrier.
Carolina sees the beauty in everything that crosses her path - and in this project she has transformed a cardboard box belonging to a doll into a lovely way to take jewelry around to boutiques and galleries.
A peek inside the case when you open the lid.
This project involves no sewing - everything is done with scissors and glue.
The bottom of the case has dividers to keep jewelry from moving around during transport.
But to get to the bottom, you must first remove a cleverly designed, smaller jewelry display case:
The secret, smaller case that's been removed from inside of the main display case.
Of course, Carolina gives the smaller case some wonderfully useful features too:
Open the smaller jewelry display case and you'll notice a screened lid that's idea for hanging earrings.
Be sure to visit Carolina's full tutorial for this portable jewelry display case - in addition to more photos and easy instructions, you'll find a very neat earring-card trick at the end!
