Pin-Up Jewelry Display
Here is a a really cute idea for a Pin-Up jewelry display you can make for home. I use this for my Barones Lovey De Luxe jewelry shows. I hang it in an old red American Touristor suitcase I found at a flea market. I got this sign at a craft store Michael's. Every week they have 40% off coupon so use it.
The sign is a thin metal that can be drilled. On the backside I used a ruler and pencil to measure rows and mark where I was going to drill. I used a Dremel to drill the holes. I snapped the first two drill bits so make sure you use the right size needle, preferably a thicker size.
It can be hung in a closet or in your bedroom. You may sit it on a stand used for picture frames and place on a vanity table.
If you want to get really creative you can buy a tiny birds nest from the craft store and attach it to the top of the display to put rings. You can also add some clip on butterflies to hang small earrings. You may even glue hooks to the front for necklaces. The list is endless...
Hope that gave you some cute retro ideas for jewelry storage. If you have any good ideas to add on let me know.
Enjoy:)
