I have been doing a lot more jewelry parties lately and I was tired of spending so much time on setting up my display.

I love some of the ideas I have gotten from this site and I wanted to share one of my favorite displays.

I have added several more of these picture frames for displaying my necklaces because I can set them up days before my show and take as much time as I want. (I tend to get a little particular when it comes to these things!)

Now I just cover my frames in “envelopes” I made out of packing material and I’m on my way!

I like the frame idea Debbie. What did you use to hang the necklaces on? Hooks, and corkboard?

Hi Jean,
Thanks for the comment. My hooks are made from upholstery needles that I bent back. Under the fabric is cardboard from some larges boxes I had laying around. These frames are very easy to make.

Quick set-up

After repeatedly spending way too much time setting up my booth, I finally decided, like you, that what mainly takes a long time is getting the jewelry on the display. So I spent one evening putting all of my jewelry on their displays at home, and then taping each one down with a low-tack painter's tape. I tape front and back, and any dangly bits that might get tangled up. When I get to shows, I just quickly take off the tape and I'm done. At the end of the show, it takes me a couple of minutes to replace the tape, so that everything is ready for the next show. This has been SUCH a time-saver for me.

A great display idea. I also like the idea of packing up the display as is at the end of the show, covering it with packing material or bubble wrap for protection, and having the time to set up the display at home in advance.
