Plumevine Jewelry Display by Lorianne Jäntti

I got an opportunity to sell my jewelry at a fancy home decor boutique and the first thing I worried about was definitely my display!

I had nothing worthy of a place like that, as everything I used was portable, light and made of mostly cloth covering pieces of cardboard.

I've always been very crafty, so I took on the challenge, grabbed a pencil, a sheet of paper and began to sketch!

First, I thought of what I actually needed, the practical aspect is always my first consideration when building something. I needed something that I could hang necklaces on and have a bit of height to it.

That's how these wooden frames came to life. They are held together with small hinges which allows them to open wide and close. I love them because not only do they display my necklaces in an entire atmospheric area which transfers the custommer into a different little world, but also because of the height which allows me to place other elements in front, such as the mirror, a tray with cards, a smaller earring, ring and bracelet display, etc.

I've lost count of the amount of people who've wanted to buy those frames! So I might add furniture to my craft sometime soon :)

Lovely Frames for Lovely Jewels

These frames are perfect for your jewelry, and I can see why people ask about buying them!

Also, the patterned backgrounds in the frames enhance your jewelry nicely without hiding it.

Your other display elements are also very eye-catching because they're unusual.

And I love the oval "Plumevine" sign peeking out from the top left corner of your booth photo!

Thanks for sharing your beautiful, creative displays!

I really like your idea of using the picture frames. What did you use at the top of the frame to hang your necklaces from?

Glad you like it :) The "things" at the top, for lack of a better word, were custom made by me, but the original idea was to put ornamental drawer knobs. I couldn't find anything I liked so I made those.

Beautiful!
