Mixed Kreations first business card

My first business card

My first business card

This is my first business cards that I have made. I uploaded my picture to Picnik photo editing. But when I saved it so that I could copy and paste it on my business card template in Microsoft word, it would not let me center it. So I ended up making it in two parts.

First I added my picture image to the template, then I printed it out. Then I went back to Microsoft and did my lettering, then printed that on top of my image.

What do you think?

Looking Good
by: Val

Very good first card attempt. You can save yourself some time by choosing to flow your text over your image. Simply click the image and from the editing tools choose how you want your text to flow. It allows you to tightly knit the two or space the lettering away from the image. Practice on plain paper before trying to print on your cards. I've even done this on pre-imaged cards to make them more my own. That way you aren't restricted to the white background.

Free Graphic Design Software
by: Amy

I have found the Serif.com website really helpful with their free starter edition DrawPlus graphic design software. Once you learn to use it, you have so much flexibility for your business cards, banners and other print marketing. It allows you to use your photos, logo, add text and other design elements. Unlimited control! Once you convert your designs to a PDF or .png file you can send them off to Vistaprint.com for inexpensive printing.

Thanks
