My outdoor display booth has been mostly put together with freebies from friends, work or really cheap items at thrift stores.

My jewelry booth display consists of:

~ 1 10x10 white canopy

~ 3 6 ft folding cafeteria tables

~ 2 King size ivory sheets with sage green sheer panels used for table runners

~ 1 Tapestry for the back accent table in ivory, sage green and purple

~ large vintage green window screen for earring display

~ wood tv tray for laptop, writing receipts

~ 2 camping chairs

~ various metal items used for hanging necklaces, bracelets

~ wood and wicker trays filled with white navy beans for jewelry displays

~ various plastic lidded food servers used underneath fabric for risers and storage before and after show

~ wicker treasure box filled with "free" candy

~ fused glass globs and seashells used for draping jewelry

~ mirror for each table.

I get a lot of compliments on my booth, especially the beans because they show off the jewelry really well.

The only thing I would change is the tables are really heavy (but they were free) and I am going to try and find some inexpensive fold-up aluminum camping tables.

What a great way to put together your booth. Friends, family and co-workers usually enjoy joining in the fun and contributing or suggesting things we can use.

You've got such a talent for it that I know your booth will continue to evolve in fantastic ways as you attract more and more interesting elements for it!

Creative use of materials

Very imaginative use of everyday materials. I once bought at a garage sale, an old fireplace screen (I don't even have a fireplace) which I use to hang earrings. the screen is free standing and very attractive and could be used to hang anything. I also use some old driftwood for necklaces to cling to. Just the idea of using these kinds of materials is a conversation piece and draws people in.

I LOVE the idea of using trays filled with navy beans to display your jewelry! I'm constantly searching for ways to display my bracelets without having them "travel" around my tables. It seems the beans help to keep your pieces in one place...great idea! Thanks for sharing, Kim.

What an inspiration. Wish i would have had those ideas when I use to have my jewelry at an antiques booth a year ago! I love the use of seashells as I love all that beachy stuff! Keep up the good work and great ideas for the rest of us!!
