Your jewelry tags should be a unique expression of your work and your jewelry business - while also communicating what a piece of jewelry is made of.

One of the simplest, most versatile types of jewelry tags is the "make-it-yourself" kind you design and print from your computer. Here's an older version of my jewelry tags (front and back), which I used to print myself and cut apart with a paper-cutter for several years before having them professionally printed:

You can also use a variety of ready-made cards or perforated business cards, and simply stamp, write, or place a printed sticker on them with the necessary info:

Depending on the style of your jewelry, this type of blank product tag might be just the thing:

Or you might have custom jewelry cards professionally printed, like these printed by Dolphin Bead:

You can easily and cheaply make jewelry tags from business cards, and then cut them apart, as Pamela Vale does:

Or consider having Moo MiniCards printed up for your jewelry tags. They're cute, hip, and a good size for this purpose - although more expensive than most of the other options here.

Finally, many jewelry artists put a permanent metal jewelry tag on their pieces as a professional way to mark their work:
