This jewelry organizer was designed by multi-talented artist Liz Marie.

First she gathered an interesting assortment of cabinet hardware - drawer pulls, cabinet pulls, and knobs.

Then she got a wooden board and decided where to place each of these cool hardware finds on it.

(Liz Marie's board already had holes in it. You might test to see if a pegboard has holes spaced in the right places for your hardware. If not, a bit of simple drilling on a plain board will enable you to mount your hardware goodies right where you want them.)

Then she covered her board with burlap fabric and mounted her hardware finds on it.

In photo #3 above, you can see how the pulls and knobs are attached via screws through the back of the board.

This is such a fantastic project! It would be easy to customize this idea for your own jewelry display, through your choice of fabric and hardware types and colors.

Love this idea and love the eclectic look of the different styles of hardware. I can also see a display using the same style of hardware if someone likes a more uniform look to their display.

Very Clever idea. I love the cross over use of door handles. There is such a wide selection of door knobs that this becomes art in itself. Tucking this one under my cap. Much success to you.
