Hanging Wearable Art

by Lynne Cirillo
(Venice, FL)

I purchased bi-fold closet doors, at a resale store for $2.00! Got 16-gauge, galvanized fence wire - comes in a small roll - at the lumber store for less than $3.00.

I made hooks that go all the way thru to the back - kinda "W" shaped. I can hang items on the front and back of these hooks.

I place the bi-fold doors at each of the front corners of my booth, wired to the legs of my booth awning. It looks like the bi-folds are holding up the top of my booth. This also allows a lot more people to see my items.

I also hang a mirror on the bi-fold doors. People will take a necklace off the hook and hold it up to themselves if there is a mirror handy.

I will show picture soon as I take one.

Cool idea!

And I love the price! :o)

What a good idea to hang a mirror on the bi-fold door, to encourage folks to hold things up and try them on.

Thanks for sharing this excellent, versatile display idea, Lynne!
