Folded Earring Cards

Folded earring cards are easy to make and very versatile to display.
They can hang on any standard earring spinner, rack, or homemade jewelry display.
They can also be free-standing, as an easy and cheap way to show your earrings without using any displays.
How to Make Folded Earring Cards
Use acid-free cardstock or heavy paper. The heavier the paperstock you use, the better your folded cards will stand up nicely without sagging, and the more attractively they'll hang on a display rack.
- Measure and cut a piece of this cardstock twice as long as you need for hanging your earrings. For example, if you want to have a 2" x 2" earring card, cut your cardstock 4" x 2".
- Fold it in half, and punch holes in the bottom half at the appropriate level for hanging your earrings.
- Add whatever text you wish to any of the surfaces of your card, and mount your earrings on it.
Jewelry artist Laura Teague makes this project even simpler. She says:
"I have been making folded, tent-type earring cards where no paper cutting is necessary. I use blank bookmarks available at your local craft store - simply fold them over, punch holes, and add earrings. They are sturdy and come in several different colors. Easy and effective!"
Great idea, Laura!
