Fast n Easy Frame Displays
Before I saw Bea Graansma's terrific idea for the Cardboard and Fabric Necklace Display, I came up with a fast and easy variation of the picture frame display.
When I'm working on similar necklaces, I find it easier to see my other designs (to check colors, bead styles, spacing, etc.) so one day I decided to make some way of perching the necklaces in front of me.
I simply cut out a display design out of scrap cardstock I had lying around and glued it to a cheap photo frame I got at the dollar store.
Since the frame already had a stand, propping it up was no problem.
I only intended to use it as a temporary display (hence, the crooked design and too-short length) but it turned out to be pretty handy for photos too.
I liked it so much I made a few more.
Of course, if I wanted to use them for a craft show, I'd improve the design/shape and make it long enough to cover the frame.
Plus, I may want to cover the cardstock in something that would make it more durable.
By the way, after reading about Becky Blair's impressive Craft Show Necklace Display
I'll post a picture if I ever make one. Speaking of which, as you can see, I'm still working on improving my photography skills. Any tips or advice is more than welcome.
