Divas modeling the latest accessories

Inspired by the artistic mannequin Carolina Gonzalez made, I made a version for myself.

I drew shapes and faces with pastels, cut the cardboard to match the figure, glued and added a kickstand in the back.

I also covered the backs with decorative paper to make the mannequin appealing from any side.

These are my favorites, but I have made eight in all.

(The brunette reminds me of Winona Ryder, and the blonde -Madonna. The sultry one seems to be a jazz singer, don’t you think?)

Making these cardboard mannequins was a lot of fun, I’m sure these girls will catch the eye of potential customers at my next craft show.

When I saw these jewelry display Divas, I was totally surprised and amused! They're great - and they all have so much personality!

You're so right about these gals drawing attention to your booth. Things that are different, fun, and totally unexpected get noticed and remembered.

I'm sure they'll be great conversation-starters with your customers, too!

Thinking outside the box

What an awesome idea, & a great way to change you booth. I like to change my display with a different ways of arranging & show-casing my jewelry, but never thought of this idea. If you don't mind, I'd like to maybe add some "divas" in the future. Thanks for sharing.
