Additional light is one of the most essential elements in selling your jewelry.

The better your customers can see the details of a piece of jewelry, and the more it sparkles in the light, the more likely they are to buy it.
I've found that a minimum of one light bulb per two linear feet of table is a good rule of thumb for a jewelry display.
I have four of these black lamps - one for each of my 47" wide display tables.
I can turn and angle the lamp heads nearly anywhere, so with this tiny footprint of table space I can illuminate an entire table very efficiently.
I use "Reveal" natural-light bulbs - they make my jewelry gleam and sparkle without casting any unnatural color on it. The lamps and bulbs were quite cheap at WalMart.
You might also check office supply stores for desk lamps that would work well to light up your jewelry booth.
