Colorful Glass Bottle Necklace Display

Flea-market bottles with wired twine branches

Thanks to Paula of Once A Paula Time Jewelry for inspiring this idea!

I needed some additional necklace displays that were similar to my favorite pendant tree.

After seeing Paula's Bottle Cap Necklace Display I realized that I had some lovely bottles packed away that would work well for making bottle trees.

(These bottles were found at flea markets, but an import store would probably have a good selection as well.)

I used wired twine from the craft store and twisted and wrapped until I got the look I was going for.

I added some glass pebbles for weight and began hanging a few necklaces that were in coordinating colors to the bottles.

I am so pleased with the result and can't wait to try them out next week at my first outdoor craft show of the season.

Just as Rena said, looking at this display helped me form an idea for a ring display to use this weekend at a show that has big (UGLY) tags and a very small amount of space. A normal slotted felt block wasn't going to work, so I've been fighting for ideas....if I use it, I'll make sure to post a picture.

The cool thing is that you can color coordinate the bottles or glass rocks, to match either the jewelry or tablescape.

I actually bought some curvy wire that is very similar to this at Michael's in the cake section. It is Duff (Ace of Cakes) brand and is generally used for making cakes with things coming out of it! I am using it to display some of my earrings and it looks awesome and very uniform!

Thank you for sharing. I too am knew at Craft Fairs. I did my first one on Labour Day weekend & the friendliness & help from the other vendors made me feel accepted & part of a family. I love your beautiful creative display & I too am going to borrow it :) I have 2 Xmas shows to do & a jewelry party & I'm now looking for ideas for a xmas decorating theme for my booth.
