Crystal Cracker Tray

I have 2 different cards I have designed on Avery.com using the "design and print" feature. It took me a while to find a design I really like for my business card and I love it.

It would not work however for my earring card because not only is it horizontal it is also too busy.

I could just hang them on the back of my usual business card, but I think that looked tacky.

Besides I enjoy doing that sort of thing and the cost is the same.

I wanted something with all the pertinent information on it but also something that was not going to distract too much from the earrings.

I like what I have come up with: see Dianne's jewelry packaging.

Another thing about the earring cards is that they work much better (for my work) if they are the ivory rather than the white. I think the white is too bright.

Once the earrings were all on the cards then how to display?

AHA! Did you know a cracker tray is just the right size for vertical business cards? Me neither, but they are!

You can find them in almost any material, or if you are handy with a saw you could make your own ... my husband won’t allow me near anything sharp. Besides, I prefer the crystal for my purpose.

You want the kind with a flat bottom on the inside or slightly rounded. Some of them come to a sharp “V” and I would avoid those.

These are great for home shows and places where hanging space is limited.

The crystal is so elegant - but won't overpower your jewelry or earring cards.

I'm sure it makes a very nice statement in your display.

By the way - isn't it amazing how many kitchen-related items start to look like jewelry displays the longer you look at them?! :o)

Do you have a photo of a tray with cards in it? I'm trying to picture how this works and have never owned a cracker tray. Are they stacked so people flip through them? Do they fall out?

lever back earring cards

Hi,
I use lever backs for all of my earrings.
Do you know of any earring cards that work for this kind of finding?
