Bracelet arch

I used a rectangular piece of floral foam, cut it in half, and rounded off the top edges with a knife to create a smooth arch.

I placed this under my over-cloth (table cloth) and used it to drape bracelets over.

This is very light-weight and inexpensive but I would recommend covering it with some foil as the foam tends to leave particles all over my cloth.

Great Idea for Making Custom Displays

Hi Bijou,

What a great way to create jewelry displays in exactly the size and shape your jewelry needs.

You might also want to consider covering your craft foam with a swatch of pretty fabric (which you could pin to the foam on the underside), and setting it out on top of your table cover.

I also knew a jewelry artist who made a display from a piece of floral foam in the shape of a half-sphere:

She covered the half-sphere in fabric, placed it flat side down on her booth table, and poked the pointy ends of her handmade stickpins and hat pins into the domed top of the display! Her stickpins and hat pins stood up nicely and were very easy to see.

What a cool idea for bracelet display

This is a great idea. I was thinking similarlt foam cylinders could also be used covering them nice satin or silk remnants and display bracelets. The idea just came to my mind after reading your post, Bijou. I may upload a picture some day if I get there.Thanks

I think this is a terrific idea. Anyone can do this. I've seen similar displays made using a oatmeal box, but you have to put some weight in it.

I've been looking for just such a bracelet display for my next show! What a wonderful idea! I have covered some of my displays with a stretchy black crushed velveteen material and I know it's going to work on the bracelet display too! Thank you, thank you -- in the nick of time!

Alternative to foam

The swim noodles that kids play with are also great to use. Just cut to the length you want, shave a flat surface and wrap fabric around it. Stuff the ends in the holes on each end. A really neat bracelet arch.

Thank you for thinking outside the "retail" box. Purchased jewelry displays can get expensive when you need several. Kudos, good thinking!

I had my handy neighbor across the street cut large pvc pipe in half lengthwise and in 6 inch segments. Then I covered that with batting and velvet in coordinated colors to my display. I just glued it at the bottom. They are very sturdy and display my jewelry very well.

Bracelet Display

I attach a dowl to a square piece of wood and paint it black. Then I cover a foam paint roller cover with velveteen, and put it horizontally on the "holder." It is light, attractive, and totally reusable.
