Earrings hanging on aluminum retractable window blind

Having limited space in our B & M store to display earrings, we decided to find something that would not only fit in the allotted wall space, but could also be removed and transported to shows.

Our earring cards are simply business cards with self-adhesive adapters on the backs, and we hang them on an aluminum retractable window blind.

This way, you can release the blind to add more pairs of earrings, or lift the blind for fewer pairs.

When we go to a show, we simply attach the blind to a projector screen stand.

As far as transporting this unit, the earrings are carried (on their backing cards w/hang tabs) in a storage tub, the window blind is pulled tight and the tripod folds down into a 12" tall unit, so set-up is a breeze: Unfold and extend the tripod, release the strings on the blind to extend it - and hang the carded earrings on the blind. Set up for this only takes 5 to 10 minutes, which includes hanging the earrings on the blind.
